Reparex and conventional hair dye: comparing the routines
Compare intended appearance, application rhythm, colouring history and maintenance before choosing your approach.

Begin with the routine you want
Conventional colouring and Reparex have different application rhythms. Many dyes are used in a defined colouring session to achieve a selected result. Reparex uses repeated targeted application according to its own instructions, followed by maintenance when the shade is satisfactory.
This difference is useful without suggesting that one method is right for everyone. Compare your desired appearance, how quickly you need it, the time you can commit and the history of your hair. The overview of grey-hair options includes leaving grey hair visible as an equally valid choice.
What gradual use means
Reparex instructions describe small amounts on dry, undyed hair and a specific sequence including drying. The initial routine is daily, with maintenance generally two or three times a week once the shade is satisfactory. These instructions do not guarantee an identical result or timetable for every user.
More solution is not an approved way to accelerate the process. Excessive application can lead to an unwanted reddish tone. Read the complete application guide and the leaflet for your chosen variant.
Previous colouring is essential information
Reparex guidance specifies undyed hair, a three-month interval after colouring and restrictions concerning copper derivatives. An interval does not prove that older colour has vanished from the lengths. Keep the packaging or a record of previous treatments and ask before starting if anything is unclear.
Do not assume faded colour is untreated hair or that adding a different type of product makes two systems compatible. A product for scalp hair is also not an automatic substitute for a beard variant.
Avoid promises neither method establishes
This comparison does not rank Reparex as universally safer, guarantee permanent results after stopping, or present cosmetic shade adjustment as treatment for hair loss or a biological cause of greying. Different formulas have their own limitations and safety instructions.
Before buying, describe the area, previous products, intended contrast and maintenance you can manage. If the scalp is irritated or a previous reaction remains unexplained, waiting for appropriate advice can be a better next step than adding another cosmetic.
