Grey hair in men: a natural look without a sudden change
Choose an approach based on the contrast you like, your haircut and the amount of maintenance that suits you.

A natural look has no single shade
Grey temples, a few lighter strands at the front or a larger proportion of grey can all be part of a well-groomed appearance. You do not have to cover every strand. First decide whether your concern is colour, haircut or contrast around your face.
With short hair, a change in shape and length may have a different effect from adding colour. Describe the impression you want to your hairdresser, rather than asking only to remove every grey hair. A subtle choice does not need to imitate a particular age.
Decide how much contrast to keep
Temporary coverage, toning and permanent colouring have different demands. If you prefer a gradual visual change, agreeing on the intended degree of adjustment matters more than selecting the darkest possible result. Compare the options for grey hair by pace and maintenance.
Think about future regrowth as well as the first application. A short haircut does not stop hair growing. Tell your hairdresser how often you are realistically willing to maintain the look before committing to strong contrast.
Where Reparex fits
Reparex for Men is an option for someone comfortable with repeated targeted application according to the leaflet. It is not a one-off promise of an arbitrary shade. Check colouring history and suitability for use on undyed hair before starting.
Do not try to speed up the process by using more solution. Small, controlled applications and consistency differ from repeatedly soaking the entire head. The application guide explains the initial and maintenance stages, without guaranteeing identical timing for everyone.
Hair and beard need not match exactly
There is no requirement to force every shade on your head and face into the same colour. If you also want to care for a greying beard, select a product specifically intended for that area. A scalp-hair variant is not an automatic substitute. Read about grey beards and moustaches for the distinction.
Write down the contrast you want, the time you can commit and your previous colouring. If density or scalp comfort is also changing, address those separately: adjusting shade is not treatment for hair loss.
